Title : Advances of nanotechnology and nano-bio-dynamics within ongoing biotechnology, and bio-assays developments

Abstract:

In this presentation is presented advances in Nanotechnology based on metallic and semiconductors Nanoparticles by the design of varied Nanoarchitectures as functional Nanoplatforms. By this manner, varied sizes and chemical surfaces could be obtained. And in these perspectives the inter-Nanoparticle interactions and inter-Nano-Bio interactions could lead to different effects within colloidal dispersions. By this way, it is discussed how to control the Nanoscale and non-covalent interactions between them as well as with different membrane and Biostructures constitutions. Therefore, the Nano-Bio-dynamics is showed in the context of the development of Nano-Biotechnology and applications such as Biodetection, Biophotonics and Nanomedicine. Moreover, from other point of view, it is discussed the potential interest focused on the generation of new Nano-Bio-Optical properties and Biophotonics materials. It is of particular interest the development of the concept of Living Lasers and Nano-Bio-lasers; where non-classical light generated from confined Nano-volumes is interacting within the close surrounding and further within Biological media producing enhanced and amplifying energy phenomena. For all these developments, as well it should be considered Dynamics of interactions between the different components of the functional Nano-Biomaterial. Thus, it is showed Dynamics of formation from single Nano-Biostructures to higher sized Hybrids substrates by varied Microscopic techniques, such as Bright Field Confocal Microscopy, Laser Fluorescence Microscopy, and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). Moreover, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), and In Flow experiments are showed to discuss about Dynamics from the Nanoscale to the Micro-sized platforms. By this manner, it is concluded about their impact on ongoing developments of Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, and Bio-assays.

 Audience Take Away

  • In the presentation the audience could incorporate proofs of concepts and new approaches from the control of the Nanoscale toward developments within Nanophotonics and Biophotonics.
  • It is highlighted the development of Nanotechnology for Life Sciences applications such as Nanolabeling, Bioimaging, and Nanomedicine.
  • It is discussed how from the control of the Nanoscale it is afforded to the generation of spontaneous non covalent forces that could produce variable desirable and undesirable phenomena depending of the targeted application.
  • It is showed varied phenomena from simple Nano-Bio-aggregation towards interesting new Nano-Bio-Optical properties for Biodetection applications. Therefore, Nano-Bio-dynamics is presented as important factor to take into account and control.
